But the first step to improving all of *this* is by talking about it, including historical erasure.

I agree re: the labor disparities, and oh my goodness, I just finished reading Early Feminist Theory and the "Querelle des Femmes", 1400-1789, written in 1982 by Joan Kelly, and was struck by how much contemporary feminism is having to reestablish truths past feminists already knew. The slide to the privatization of the woman, the total othering of the non-white male, has been so stark and has kept us spinning in circles and not moving forward. I found myself feeling a little defeated, but also wholly supported -- all of these women have their hands on our backs pushing us onward. I appreciate you honoring them with your time and energy 💜
