Right now I don't actually have paid subscribers on, I do however have pledges, which essentially is saying that you'd become a paid subscriber once I turn that feature on. I am planning on keeping my publication free, however I was going to turn on paid subscriptions, for those such as your wonderful self who would just like to support my writing, once I get to 1,000 subs. That number is totally arbitrary, just what in my mind seemed like a good number. I would give plenty of warning before switching that feature on though. I hope that helps clear things up!
