Thanks for this informative and healing article, Jeremy. We need everyone to be in touch with their emotions. I think the world could be a very different and much better place if we were all emotionally healed, present and honest.

I completely agree. I wish we were taught how to be present, as I feel like this is something I’ve only recently just learned in the last few years. But I guess that is the point, huh? We’re all too busy, too tired, too burnout to question any of it. Thank you for adding this and for spending your time with Jeremy’s words. ❤️

Agree with the central premise and it's synchronicity because this is the topic in this weeks Truly Great Conversation!

Thank you so much both of you for sharing this! I am sharing with some of my male friends and my husband, I too work with woman primarily and did not put together that one of the reasons was because it is easier to go deeper and to witness those satisfying aha moments - however, I have a few amazing men in my life and am raising two teenage boys who are very much being raised with positive masculinity.. I feel inspired to work more with the masculine in this setting so thank you! Are there any books you can recommend?

Thank you for spending your time here, Sarah, and for uplifting!!! Thank you for raising your boys with a mindfulness towards positive masculinity! They are so lucky to have you. I personally always recommend bell hooks' A Will to Change and Liz Planks' For the Love of Men. I know both are written by women, by the way the reflect on how masculinity has impacted their own lives will unpacking the patriarchal puppet-master is so dang insightful. Both are a learning journey. They both are also really inclusive of additional reading/resources, which I find so helpful. -- and woof, I really had to edit this because I replied pre-coffee and the typos were a bit intense. 🤣

Thanks for sharing! I love “No Bad Parts” and “You’re the One You’ve Been Waiting For” by Richard Schwartz.

Jeremy, we need more men like you! And as an aside I think we need more women who make space for men to heal from toxic masculinity. I think sometimes women's expectations of men uphold the system.

Thank you for spending time with this, Kim. I completely agree with you, we are taught to also uphold patriarchy, though it benefits no one.
