I do hope you realize I am not just spending time with it. In these days when nearly every news story breaks my heart open, I'm trying to comprehend how we got here. Your research shares some important groundwork for that. Now on my way to a protest...
Ohmygoddess. I am 75, second wave feminist, mother of daughters and granddaughters. This is so excellent, it reminds me of discovering Brownmiller, Rich, Dworkin, all of my first saviors. Am sharing your soul with everyone i know who will carry you on to others. Thank you. You give me hope.
Thank you for the very interesting and informative article. These are the pages of history we must rewrite. I am a doctor and I work for safe abortion rights in India.
A book I highly recommend is - Witches, Midwives, and Nurses; A History of Women Healers by Barbara Ehrenreich.
Thank you for spending time with my words! I'm so grateful for the work YOU do! THANK YOU! And I always appreciate a recommendation, especially if it's Barbara Ehrenreich. Thank you š
When I saw that, and then saw the evidence of her erasure through the popularity of the revised textsāblood boiling for sure! I so appreciate you spending your time here with my words and these women š
This will stay with me every time I see a celebration (widespread) about the birth of a white child. Thank you for carrying this important story to us. "the United Statesā rising maternal mortality rates and lack of access to reproductive healthcare, which both disproportionately impact Black women.5 Dr. Rainford, author of Pregnant While Black: Advancing Justice for Maternal Health in America, says implicit bias is a contributing factor, āciting stories in the news about Black women and families who say doctors ignored their reports of symptoms and requests for help....It is clear exactly which mother this white-supremacist capitalistic patriarchal nation wishes to protect"
Well written ā¤ļø thank you for your great work

Wait, so a guy made a revision to an old manuscript and instead of fixing it, it was used to discredit her?!?!? Oy.
Just infuriating, no?! š©

Yes! We celebrate the births of white children and nationalize when one goes missing (always a tragedy), but what of all the kids left behind from the systems the white parents built? What of the MMIWG?! Itās all so obvious and all so gross. The white supremacy of it all š©
Thank you!
Thank YOU š
Beautifully written and a veritable mountain of research!
Speaking of gossip, have you come across the "witch's bridle"?
